Naoya Inoue prepares to move up to the 57.2 kg division

Naoya Inoue has revealed his next major goal. He said he will not wait for Bam Rodriguez and is starting preparations to fight in the 57.2 kg division. If the Japanese boxer also becomes a world champion in the new weight class, he will join the boxers who have won titles in five divisions.

Inoue currently holds the BOKS super bantamweight title. His record stands at 33 wins, no losses and 27 knockouts. He is ranked No. 1 pound-for-pound by BOKS.
