Whittaker praises Guskov ahead of UFC Sydney clash

Robert Whittaker has commented on his upcoming fight with Bogdan Guskov and praised him. According to Whittaker, there were other candidates, but one was busy and another found an excuse. Guskov accepted the fight and agreed to come to Sydney. Whittaker called it an excellent bout.

The fight is scheduled for UFC Sydney. The event is set for February 7, 2027, at Afterpay Arena in Sydney Olympic Park.

Whittaker, whose record is 28-9-0, is ranked No. 11 in the UFC light heavyweight division. Guskov, with a record of 18-3-0, is ranked No. 10.
