According to reports, Shavkat Rakhmonov's return to the octagon may be delayed again. His injured knee still cannot handle heavy physical loads, and recovery after the second surgery has been slower than expected.
Rakhmonov currently does one light training session a day. He is doing boxing, but has not yet returned to wrestling drills.
Under the most optimistic estimates, his return to the octagon could come in June 2027. Rakhmonov, known as Nomad, fights in the UFC at welterweight with a 19-0-0 record.
